Description:
 Park Tommaseo near the Central Railway Station of Padua. Thanks to its excellent position, it is a reference point for those who must leave their car near the Central Station; it is a very valid interchange point for business trips given its proximity to the "Freccia Argento" railway line.
The area is well served by all public transport nd in a few minutes you can reach the center of Padua.

On the way to the city centre is the famous and unmissable Cappella degli Scrovegni, with Giotto's colourful early 14th century frescoes. A little further on is Palazzo Zuckermann, with its collections of medals, coins, textiles, ceramics and classical furnishings, and the Musei Civici Eremitani.
The central Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Cavour, with cobbled streets, clothes shops and bars, are about 1km away.

Walking further on, you can reach the lively Piazza della Frutta, known for its fruit and vegetable market, and Piazza delle Erbe, overlooked by cafés, bars and the Palazzo della Ragione, a medieval public building rich in frescoes. Wandering around the centre you can visit:
  • the Renaissance Palazzo Bo, with its anatomical theatre, seat of the city's university;
  • MUSME - the Museum of the History of Medicine, with interactive exhibitions on human anatomy, surgical instruments and the history of local medicine;

  • the imposing Prato della Valle, a public square with a central island surrounded by over 70 statues of famous historical figures.
