| Description: |
Velaris Parking is a newly built, covered and enclosed car park next to Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, with room for around 400 vehicles. If you're sailing from the Port of Málaga, you can leave your car here for the whole cruise, whether it's a short break or a two-week voyage, and reach the terminal on the car park's free transfer. When you arrive, the team checks the car with you and keeps the keys in the office safe. While you wait for the transfer, there's a waiting lounge with Wi-Fi and toilets. |
||
| Features: |
Covered and enclosed, newly built facility
Staff on site and CCTV
Vehicle check at drop-off and keys kept in a safe
Long stay: your car stays here until you're back
Maximum vehicle height: 2 metres
Transfer for groups of up to 8 people, wheelchair accessible
Your car spends the cruise under cover, out of the sun and sea air, in a staffed, enclosed site. Driving a people carrier, a van or a car with a roof box? Check that your vehicle is within the height limit before you confirm your booking. Travelling as a family or group? Everyone rides the same transfer, with a baby seat on request. |
||
| Port transfer: |
Free transfer between the car park and the cruise terminal at the Port of Málaga. The journey takes 20 minutes or more, depending on traffic, so you need to arrive at the car park at least 3 hours before boarding. Outbound: when you arrive, the team checks the car with you and drives you and your luggage to the cruise terminal. Return: once you've disembarked and collected your bags, call the number in your confirmation email and they'll tell you where to meet at the port. If your ship is delayed and your stay runs longer, the extra time is charged at the car park's current rate. |
||
| Extras: |
Exterior and interior car wash on request: an optional service, charged separately. Ask for it at drop-off and your car will be clean when you're back from your cruise. |
||
| Location: |
The car park is in the airport area, not at the port: the free transfer is what connects you to the cruise terminal. Use the map to plan your route to the car park. When you confirm your booking, your MyParking ticket will include the exact address and the car park's contact numbers. |
